Letter from Jannice May
Thank you for the wonderful comments about last year’s Connecting and Bonding Conference theme: Why Talk to God. Many of you mentioned that you have set up your own personal “War Room.” I am glad the conference was helpful in keeping us focused on the power of prayer.
Here are just a few comments we received from our survey:
“I loved hearing Marilyn’s encouragement to journal my prayers. It was a helpful reminder about one way to be focused and intentional in prayers for my children and family.”
“Kathleen Hart is such an inspiration on how to live our daily lives in joy and peace. Kathleen’s sharing from the heart, her love and devotion to God continually, and her love for us, her prayers for us…”
“Friendship Teams are so beneficial in encouraging and ministering to each other in a small group setting. It is an intimate way of sharing each other’s burdens.”
“I loved Communion. We didn’t rush it. We took time to remember. Love it: The Song was so meaningful.”
“Marilyn Hontz’s session was very helpful and tied right in with the theme. We love having Marilyn back with us again.”
We are looking forward to the upcoming conference in September 2017. Our theme will be “Seeking from the Lord.” We all need to ask, listen, and wait on Him. God tells us in Proverbs 8:17 (ESV), “I love those who love me and those who seek me diligently, find me.”
Our guest presenter will be Dr. Sheryl Giesbrecht from Bakersfield, CA. Exchanging hurt for hope is Sheryl’s focus – a message she shares with others as a radio personality, author, and speaker. Sheryl has endured many challenges and changes in her life, including addictions, cancer, and even widowhood, moving her to a deep faith, trust, and dependence on God. You can find out more about Sheryl on her website, fromashestobeauty.com. I know you will enjoy hearing from her.
Be sure to mark your calendars for the next C & B Conference. It will be Labor Day weekend, September 1-4, 2017, in Ontario, CA.
Once again, you can register on our website and pay with credit card, or mail the enclosed application form to:

I hope to see you in September. It’s great to have a weekend where we can take a break and recharge our spiritual batteries. Saturday night we will have the Elephant Game again, which has become very popular – lots of fun and lots of laughter!
Thank you for your prayers for the Connecting and Bonding Ministry and me personally. I pray for you and hope you are all well.
Love and Blessings!
